The purposes of the Frankston Business Chamber is to act as a major professional organisation representing the industrial, commercial and primary business interests of Frankston City; and to promote the advancement of the above interests and provide a meeting place where members may by friendly discussion engender good fellowship.
The Chamber also forwards to the appropriate bodies, projects which will improve business in Frankston City; and develops a civic pride with the business community in Frankston City through the development and growth of business and through the promotion of the value the business community is to the City.

Frankston Football Club Peninsula Dolphins

In 2000, Frankston joined the new VFL competition administered by Football Victoria. The new competition included all Victorian based AFL Reserves teams plus VFA Clubs. Frankston remains as a Stand Alone Club in the competition, and is proud of its history as a vibrant and passionate Club representing our local community.

Emerging Athlete Program

Frankston City Council's Emerging Athletes Program is a source of funding for talented junior sportspeople residing within the municipality. This program offers families of emerging sportspeople the opportunity to access funding of up to $1,000 each year as well as significant local media exposure in conjunction with The Independent News Group.

Beanz n Rice
Beanz n Rice raises awareness regarding current environmental, ecological, and humanitarian issues in the world today. Their objectives are to improve profiles and provide exposure for reputable volunteer organisations, non-government organisations and charities; to create an entertaining and informative independent documentary; and to inspire others to think universally and to get involved with both community and global based projects.

Frankston 1200 Swim Challenge & Nippers Challenge
Weather again played its hand in the 2007 event, with the 1200 Swim Challenge postponed from January to March due to dangerous water conditions. Eager competitors are already looking forward to the annual event in January 2008.
In January 2006, the Frankston 1200 Swim Challenge & Nippers Challenge event was held in conjunction with the Frankston Sea Festival, and although experiencing sweltering heat on the day, the event was again an enormously popular day.

Variety - The Children's Charity
Variety - The Children's Charity is dedicated to helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged children drawing on the funds raised through our Events, Road Events, Sponsorships and Donations. The 2006 4WD Event for Variety is from Melbourne via Cameron Corner to Deniliquin held over Friday 19 to Saturday 27 May. Read more

Peninsula Aero Club - TYABB on show
The Peninsula Aero Club hosted this world renowned Air Show on Sunday 19th Februray 2006. The theme of the show was "Tyabb on Show" and featured many of the diverse aircraft based at Tyabb including magnificent warbirds and antiques. EmbroidMe Frankston supplied hats, polos, volunteer tee shirts, and event tee shirts for the day. |

BRT Rallying
The The BRT Rally team is a member of the Pakenham Auto Club, and competes in Victoria on a regular basis. They recently entertained 3500 people at the Australian Rally Championship in Melbourne as part of the event's "half time" entertainment. Well done Adam ! |
